I stand by this statement.
I never truly understood why people found Omochao annoying. I must admit, he does get quite repetitive when you're trying to get Animals and Chaos Drives for your Chaos, but you could also hit him. You could shoot him, jump at him, or even punch him, depending on the character you were playing as.

As for Claptrap. HE JUST WON'T SHUT UP ABOUT THOSE NEW MISSIONS!
Every damn time you load up a new area "That guy has a little something something he needs doing!"
Every god damn time. It became so infuriating, that every time I saw a Claptrap, I would just shoot at the thing none stop, wishing it would show anguish like Omochao,

At least Omochao tried to be helpful, by giving you tutorial hints and what not. Claptrap just makes a stupid statement which doesn't help at all. If you wanted to know there were new missions available, you'd look at the bounty board.

I mean, at least Omochao being annoying was mostly your fault. What else would you expect from replaying the same level over and over again.
But with Claptrap, the only way you can shut that stupid machine up, is by completing all of the side quests, and not making any more progress on the main story. (Although I must admit it was so nice when the Echo System went down.)

And why oh why doesn't that annoying piece of junk show some sort of reaction when I shoot it. Something that at least allows you to brush off some of that built up anger from all the constant jabber it spouts. Ugh, I hate that thing.

What's worse, it seems as though people like Claptrap. How can you like that hunk of annoying junk. Sure, it's kinda cute at the start, but it doesn't stay that way. How can anyone hate Omochao, but at the same time like Claptrap. Tell me, HOW!
Claptrap is like a more obnoxious version of Omochao, the only difference being. You can't hurt Claptrap, and you're actually forced to save them every now and again.

You're leaking? WELL DIE ALREADY! *Bang bang bang*

I suppose he's not called "Claptrap" for no good reason.
