Both me and my sister used to do this all the time on Deus Ex. Mostly because we just wanted our chocolate bar back. We probably would've let the kid have it, if he wasn't trying to extort it from us as a sort of bribe. If you find the fact that me and my sister would kill a kid on a game over a chocolate, offensive. Then just know that we were both kids at the time, and it was before people started getting antsy about kids being killed in games anyway.

Besides, what's wrong with killing kids in games? You do realize that they're not actually people, right? They don't have families, they don't have lives, they can't even think. For crying out loud, they're not even children, just a bunch of mathematical equations to make a bunch of pixels resemble a human child! If you can't see that, then clearly you're disjointed from reality and should see a doctor.

Actually, is it just me or do children better distinguish games from reality than adults. I mean, think about it. As an adult, you'll think twice about killing an innocent on a game. It doesn't matter whether you kill that innocent or not, you will always have noticed that it was an innocent (although you may not care). A child on the other hand, will gladly kill anyone on a video game, because it's all the same to them. innocent or bad guy, they're all just computer controlled characters (unless you make them believe otherwise).
So yeah, I don't think people need to worry about kids playing violent video games. They seem to have a better understanding that it's just a video game. Or at least, I did when I was a kid. It still used to scare me, with how empty it would be after you killed everyone (hence why I usually didn't kill everyone on Deus Ex).

Hmm, I think I digressed a bit too much there. Ah well!
I hope you enjoy the comic strip.
