With all of the talk about Bloodborne recently, this comic is highly appropriate.
Bloodborne may be difficult, but is it as difficult as this? Can you be killed by an old guy who is just punching you (and is technically the first proper fight in the game)?
Yeah, I didn't think so.
I won't deny that Bloodborne is challenging, but it isn't hard. A hard game works against you and forces you to start the game from the very beginning, over and over again. A hard game also makes you completely lost as what you're supposed to do from the get go, and has the potential to kill you almost as soon as you start the game. A hard game can only be completed by those who are persistent.
A challenging game on the other hand, can be played by all. Because as long as you have patience to memorize every last detail, you can eventually complete it.

But hey, at least Bloodborne is actually fun, right?
While Rings of Power intrigued me as a kid, I've got to admit that it most certainly hasn't aged well. And in all honesty, it's an incredibly boring game (the difficulty doesn't help it either).

In other news, I've been playing Lakeside Cabin Collection... A LOT!
I completed it within a few hours, but I've been going on it every day to try and learn all of the little easter eggs. So far I've learnt three ways to summon the bad guy, how to fall down without breaking a leg, how to cure the effects of alcohol and drugs, and how to win the game without anyone getting so much as injured.
I've also managed to piece together what little of the story there is, including deducing the name of the guy from the first game.

I've tried to keep things relatively spoiler free there, so you can play the game! :D
I've got a plan to make a comic strip about the game, so I'll elaborate more on my thoughts there.
Overall though, this has got to be the first decent horror game I've ever played. Finally, a horror game that gives you the weapons to fight the monster, but where the weapons are practically useless! (Which only adds to the horror in my opinion.) :D

All I've got to say is, I wish that people would stop praising FNAF and start praising this game instead. Unlike FNAF, I think this game actually shows effort!
And it's fun, and it has the "show, don't tell" philosophy down to a T, and it also scares you without resorting to jump scares.

If you're wondering what that game is like, just play the original here: http://www.newgrounds.com/portal/view/627444
It's basically like that, except bigger, more complex, and more fun.
