To illustrate my example, here's a video of all possible deaths in Eternal Champion: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=onGlKTuGPmc
and here is a video of all possible fatalities in Mortal Kombat X: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2YxPFw7lfY0
I think even with over twenty years in between, Eternal Champions still reigns supreme.
Of course I don't expect you to watch either of those videos from beginning to end, so I made a list of some of the more disturbing deaths in the Eternal Champions video.
13:40 (the one described in the comic)
14:15
24:00
25:55
Now here's hoping that we one day get one last Eternal Champions game.
Also, one last thing before I end this comment. Is it just me, or do all of the characters in Eternal Champions, embody the 90s? I don't know what it is about them, but they just look so fitting for the 90s for some reason, and as such look way too dated now. But still, they're all kinda awesome in that 90s way. Am I making sense here?
Oh yeah, by the way. As violent as this game was, and as much as I love the aesthetics, and the game as a whole. I think everyone can agree that as a fighter, it was pretty lackluster. But that was always ok for me, since I'm not one of those guys who memorizes combos and stuff. But if you are one of those people though, then this game will just seem like total crap to you.
