Britain, the one country in the world where you get life sentences for stealing, but only twenty four hours for murder. And I wish I was making that up. (Ok, it is a clear exaggeration.)
Also, yeah, you do get released the very next day on this game. Which makes me wonder, is it because they don't recognize that you were the werewolf, or is it because the justice system is utterly terrible? While it might be implying the former, I'm leaning more towards the latter.
Meh, who knows. What I can say is that this is the final part of this multiparter. As far as I know, nothing interesting happens at the end of the game, and this is the last funny thing I can point out, so yeah... this is where it ends.
