I often hear stories and jokes about how addicting Warcraft is and all that crap. In my honest opinion, I don't get how anyone can be addicted to a game, after all, don't you just get bored after about three to six months? I know I would!
As for MMORPGs as a whole, they just strike me as money sinks. I mean come on, how much money do you suppose most people have pumped into Warcraft, especially when you consider the subscription fee? By the way, does Warcraft still do the subscription thing? Meh, it doesn't matter anyway. Anything decent is usually stuck behind a paywall anyway.
But I suppose if I had absolutely nothing to do all day, and I had unlimited funds and literally no money-sense whatsoever, I'd probably play Warcraft like Doug's sister just did.
But I don't like playing games with people I don't know, which the main reason why I don't play any games online, especially MMORPGs, so maybe I might not.
