The Dwarf Fortress comics! They just won't stop!
Yeah, what can I say. There's been a very long over-arching story about Steve's character on Dwarf Fortress, and I really wanted to conclude it. That's right, almost all of my Dwarf Fortress comics make a continuous plot. A story of a dwarf going from zero to hero, eventually deciding to take on a goblin Dark Tower, gets his arm chopped off, and then finally killed by a random goblin just as he finds the demon ruling the place.

If you go through all of those comics, you'll see he slowly picks up better and better equipment as well.

Also, I'm a big fan of Dwarf Fortress, and there's just so much material to work with, so it's no surprise that I like making Dwarf Fortress comic strips so much. :D

Lastly, before I end this comment. Yes, you can be an extremely well-equipped and super-skilled legendary hero, and still be killed by a lucky lowly goblin. After all, I once heard a story of a human civilian that managed to kill a demon by exploding it in a burst of gore. The human succeeded in doing this by... pushing the demon. Apparently the density of the surrounding floor was multiplied by the push force. Even though the push force was terrible, the density of the floor was so ridiculously high, that it killed the demon.
And in case you're wondering the floor was made of slade, which is a fictional rock that has such a high density because you're not supposed to be able to dig through it. As a matter of fact, I don't think goblins are even supposed to use it in construction, but that's Dwarf Fortress for you, always buggy.
