I can't be the only one that finds the word "homophobic" to be a bit strange. It implies a fear of gays, but actually means a prejudice against gays. What gives? Why not call it gayist or something.
Also, just in case you're wondering, I am unhappy that rainbows are now associated with homosexuality. Why? Because in my day, rainbows were associated with kids and the Irish!
And I like rainbows... and I don't like people assuming you're celebrating gay pride just because you like rainbows.
Why couldn't they take... yellow. No one likes yellow, or green, or orange, or brown, or even grey. Yeah, they should have chosen one of those colours.
Actually, now that I think about it, I don't think any colour should be associated with anything. Blue shouldn't be associated with boys, pink shouldn't be associated with girls, black shouldn't be associated with angst, and purple shouldn't be associated with royalty.
Why can't we just let colours be colours!
...
Maybe I should make a comic about that.
Oh, and it's my birthday today. Happy birthday me. :D
