I know it will be soon, simply because this has happened before.
Do you remember that Fallout game where you run your own vault?
No one plays that game anymore. No one even talks about it anymore. Heck, my sister doesn't even remember it, and she HAS a smartphone... unlike me.
So yeah, this game is going to die out. If I had to take a guess, I'd say it'll die roughly one month after Pokemon Sun and Moon are released. So in short, I can guarantee that no one will be playing this game at Christmas.
It could die out sooner, but it's hard to be sure.
Still, it's an interesting game.
It's not very Pokemon like in the way it's played. But it's still an interesting game.
And hey, it gets people out of the house. And for the first time ever, you actually get random strangers on the street making Pokemon references. It's nice to see such a community up and about, and being so prevalent.
Even if you're a fan who isn't playing the game, it's still fun, simply because of how widespread it is.
