Comic 244 - Becoming a Hero

Firstly I would like to thank Dreamer-In-Shadows over on deviantART for helping me come up with this comic strip. Our conversations have helped inspire me with a lot of comic strips, especially ones regarding the Might and Magic series.

Secondly, this comic was originally going to highlight how people on M&M6 would typically become the pinnacle of good, just to get a certain trainer that is only accessible to those with the highest reputation. Then nuke a town to instantly become the pinnacle of evil, just to get another trainer which requires you to have the lowest reputation. And then finish it all off by donating enough money to a temple to get your reputation a little above average.

While this sounded like it would make a brilliant comic, I couldn't quite fit it into a believable series of events that didn't seem arbitrary or random. Nor could I fit in some sort of commentary explaining the warped way everyone's thoughts about this hero changed almost instantly due to the smallest of actions.

Eventually it evolved into this, which I think works better.

Is this Might and Magic, or Fable? Or is it Fallout 3? Or perhaps Fallout New Vegas...

It really does describe just about every RPG out there.
