And so begins a five part story, which I wrote years ago to parody a similar story that Penny Arcade made, which again was many years prior to me writing my parody.
But with many years of experience under my belt, I've managed to reword a few places and do a much better job at creating the panels as I envisioned.
The original reason I never made this a comic many years ago though, was because I didn't think it was very good. Now though, my threshold for a passable comic strip has lowered considerably. Add to that, that I needed to get myself four or more comics ahead again, and it only made sense to finally make that multi-part story that I came up with all those years ago.
It might take over a month, but stick with it. The ending is worth it for the laugh alone.
And personally, I think the individual comics are funny in their own right. Just nowhere near as much as the final punchline.
