Ah, the 256th comic. A nice round number... for a computer enthusiast that is.

You know, it's just occurred to me that I'm onto my fifth year of making comics for this website. And when you consider how long I had been making comics for this series before this website, you realise that I've been doing this for a very long time.

When I decided to make a website for this webcomic, I told myself I'd have to be in it for the long haul. That it'll never become popular, but that I should never go on hiatus or stop, regardless of reasons. And I think I've done that quite well.

I don't know how many more years this webcomic has got left in it, but I suppose it will end one day. Although don't worry, when I do end it, I will end it properly. I don't have an ending in mind, but I'm sure I'll come up with one when the time eventually comes.

Now as for the comic itself. The actual term for a dragon without wings is "Drake". So the Dwarf Fortress dragons are actually Drakes. But that isn't as funny.

There's even a name for dragon's that lack all legs but still has wings. Although I seem to have forgotten what they're called. They kind of look like serpents though.

Also, fun fact: most Dwarf Fortress players probably haven't noticed that the dragons on that game lack wings.
