Why did no one mention this?
Why did I quite literally have to buy and play New Leaf to find this out?
THIS IS MAJOR NEWS!

Firstly, it's a little bit sad.
Secondly, it's absolutely awesome! I hate Mr Resetti!
I mean, you forget to save or your power ran out, so you have to redo all of that lost progress. And to add insult to injury, here's this mole that comes out and verbally abuses you! Add to the fact that I always thought he was going to literally "reset" your game if you did it too much, and that mole was terrifying!
Even more so when you have a sister who constantly forgot to save!

So good riddance!

But still... it's a little sad.
Even if he deserves it.

Personally, I would have rather they did it the other way around. Have him have a Job when you first start the game but give you the opportunity to lay him off (with a severance package).

It's easy to not hire someone. But could you FIRE them?

Ooh, that would've been an interesting way to do it.
So you could pay to get rid of him, instead of having to pay to get him around.

You're right, that IS what they should have done. Especially with the moral dilemma it brings up.

Personally, I could definitely fire him.
