Firstly, those aren't my favourite Pokémon, they're Doug's. Mine are Zangoose and Quilava, both of which were cut.
Secondly, I know this is already outdated, what with the DLC being announced. Clearly all of the Pokémon will be implemented eventually through patches. Or at least most of them. So take it as more of an initial impression, or a record of how people thought when it first came out.
Thirdly, I know that the "improved animations" was just them saying in a roundabout way that "we've had to make a bunch of animations for the Pokémon Camp bit", but still, the battle animations are nowhere near on par with a game that came out three console generations ago. Not that it really matters, since I bet the people who would notice the most, would also just end up turning off the animations to speed up battles.
Fourthly, I had to make this once I realized how perfectly it fitted in with an old comic I made years ago. I remake/sequel just fitted in so perfectly. I just wish I had thought of it sooner.
