Also, you do own your games. Companies just try to convince you otherwise so they can break the law. It's weird how game companies can lie constantly, yet people are still surprised when they learn that they've been lied to by a game company. You'd think at some point, people would learn to never believe a game company.
I know right? It's almost like companies (not just game companies) employ people that specifically look for things that most people would agree are "wrong" but that they can respond to with "Where does it say that it's against the rules though?"
Though realistically, let's say you really do own all your Steam games despite them telling that you are only purchasing licenses to them. Now let's say you haven't done any prep work like download all your steam games and put them in a physical back up, or written your steam account info somewhere.
Now let us say you DIE (I know morbid but pretend)... even if your family/friends know you want a specific person getting all your games do you think Steam is going to play nice facilitating that transfer for them?
