Someone actually said this on a forum I visit. The ironic thing is, the same could be said for just about anything. Pokemon, Doom, Warcraft, First Person Shooters, Books, Theater, anything and everything.

The thing is, it's really annoying. How a complete stranger can believe that they know what you like and why you like it, better than you do, is beyond me.

Oh, you don't actually find that really annoying. You find it insightful like everyone else. It's just the joy of expressing that you have been annoyed with something that makes you say that it was annoying.
