Let's face it, the real reason he keeps the door open, is because he's the one who knocks.
Seriously though, that Heisenberg must have been so bored to make such ridiculous doors. Either that or a huge nerd. Possibly both. It would actually be in-character. You honestly can logically explain away the dumb way you open up the doors on his stage, by using what little you learn about him ingame. It doesn't make it any less funny though.
