Just your friendly little reminder of what every game was like from 2006 to 2012. Every... single... damn... game!
Every time I go to play a game from that time that I've never played before, this is pretty much what ends up going through my head.
As much as I hated these trends at the time, let's face it, they've only been replaced by other trends that are equally as annoying. The HUDless trend has been replaced by a HUD-overload trend, the tacked on multiplayer has been replaced with a tacked on Live Service aspect, the QTEs have been replaced by crafting and leveling systems, etc.
At least game's aren't full of brown blurry bloom anymore. So on the whole, I think things have improved.
