Ah, the unfortunately named Generic Shooter franchise. It's very successful in the 20QA universe, and has actually made a few appearances in my comics throughout the years.
Although people in the 20QA universe seem to have forgotten that it was originally named as such, because it was supposed to be a satirical take on how generic shooters were at the time. But it proved so successful, no doubt because it embodied all of the most generic elements of shooters at the time, that it became a franchise with a yearly release.
Unsurprisingly, the Battle Royale mode was removed from this latest release, as the company wants to market it as it's own separate free-to-play game with season passes.
