I remember hearing people say that kids don't play outside anymore back when I was a kid, and that their generation was the last generation to do so. Now that I'm an adult, I hear the exact same thing from people my age, who only fifteen years or so ago, were the ones who apparently didn't play outside.
Meanwhile I'm just sitting here, being annoyed at the kids literally playing outside right now. I mean, there's a park right there! Why is there always a new group of kids playing on the street?
Wait for it. When those kids grow up, they'll be saying kids don't play outside anymore, while simultaneously complaining about the kids playing outside. It's a never-ending cycle.
