It's things like this, that always make me question the hope for a "cure" in these types of games, movies, shows, and comics. After all, if they were all cured, it wouldn't exactly be pleasant for the cured.

It's even worse for the media with the undead zombies, since in those cases, imagine being cured and finding out that almost your entire body has rotted away.
"'hanks 'or 'aving 'e!" You'd say with glee, your unhinged jaw struggling to make words. "'ow I 'an 'esume 'y 'ife!" You'd continue, hoping you're facing the correct direction, since your eyes have long since rotted out of your skull.

Also looking at what would happen if the L4D "zombies" were cured compared to proper zombies like the ones from The Walking Dead (a show which is now complete garbage btw), and you can see with absolute certainty that the so-called "zombies" in L4D aren't zombies at all. They're mutants, and not the superhero kind either. It's a virus that clearly mutates you. Just like all of the old movies where people were turned into mutants via radiation, and how people turned into zombies via the moon's radiation back on Night of the Living Dead, the Infected in L4D are mutant abominations, not entirely unlike what you see on the Fallout games.

I mean come on, they aren't even like the living fast zombies on 28 Days Later!
They're mutants people! Not zombies!

In other news, I recently made a game and released it on both GameJolt and Itch.io, and you can follow one of the links below to find it:

I'd really appreciate it if you gave it a look.
