I can't be the only one who has noticed how bad modern Christmas songs have gotten.
It's like musicians are too unoriginal to make their own, so they just make a cover of a popular song, but since those songs have already been copied and remixed countless times, they have to do their own take on it. And for some reason that new take is always to add more random pauses and emphasize more random notes than the last cover. It's like a photocopy of a photocopy, and the song just gets progressively worse each time.
I mean, why can't they just do something actually good and original, like a heavy metal remix or something?
When I think my tone deaf parents can sing those songs better, you know there's a problem.
